Overview
As a Regulatory Affairs Associate in Beauty, you will assist the regulatory managers and officers to support in the day-to-day running of various tasks as determined by your line manager. You will have the opportunity to get involved from the offset and gain first-hand experience of contributing to large-scale projects; supporting the launch of new products, expansion of existing products into new territories. Through efficient and timely delivery of set objectives, you will support in the growth and development of the wider business. As a Regulatory Affairs Associate you will:
Responsibilities
* Provide support to EU & International Regulatory function
* Review product formulations and ingredients to ensure compliance
* Review product labelling and online content to ensure compliance
* Create and maintain Product Information Files (PIFs)
* Assist with Product Registrations & Notifications
* Liaise with test houses, raw material suppliers and regulatory bodies to build knowledge and professional network
* Investigate Consumer Complaints
* Support and advise on internal and external queries
* Regular interaction and collaboration with the wider business including NPD, Marketing, Supply Chain & Operations, Sales, Quality Assurance, Purchasing, Legal
Qualifications
* Recently achieved / Final year on track to achieve a degree in Cosmetic Science or one of the life sciences, particularly chemistry, biochemistry, or biology.
* Ability to prioritise, manage own workload and adapt to changing business requirements and deadlines
* Ability to work with different departments e.g. NPD, Purchasing, SQA, Packaging
* Excellent attention to detail
* Strong communication skills both written and verbal
* Good working knowledge of Microsoft applications including Word and Excel
* Ability to work under pressure and manage work flow to meet business deadlines
* Cosmetic labelling experience would be beneficial
