Vehicle Technician Vacancy in Christchurch, Dorset
Our reputable client is currently seeking an experienced Vehicle Technician to join their busy workshop in Christchurch, Dorset.

1. Competitive basic salary of £39,000 plus performance bonus
2. OTE potential of up to £45,000 per year
3. Monday to Friday working hours, 8:15 am to 5:15 pm + one in four Saturday mornings

Duties as a Vehicle Technician will include:
6. Carry out vehicle inspections and diagnosis on a variety of makes and models
7. Conduct scheduled maintenance and repairs to manufacturer standards
8. Perform MOT testing as a beneficial but not essential qualification
9. Ensure all work is completed efficiently and to a high standard
10. Accurately document work completed and communicate findings with customers
11. Maintain workshop tidiness and uphold health and safety standards
12. Assist in mentoring less experienced team members where required
Requirements that the Vehicle Technician will need:
13. Solid technical skills with experience working as a Vehicle Technician
14. Ideally at diagnostic level, with Level 3 light vehicle maintenance NVQ or equivalent
15. MOT licence would be beneficial but is not essential
16. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
17. Ability to work well within a team and independently
18. Enthusiastic and eager to develop technical skills further
