Residential Support Worker - Daisy Haye
Nexxus Care are recruiting for a motivated care assistant to join our team at Daisy Haye, Leek.
Shift patterns are 10pm - 8am but must be flexible to support branch needs ad hoc (2.30pm - 10pm).
Daisy Haye is an extra care scheme consisting of 88 flats. We support and care for clients who live in their own homes. You will support with personal care and ensure they remain safe, comfortable, and happy within their home.
Some duties may include:
* Provide personal care while maintaining independence, respect, and dignity, following each individual care plan.
* Providing person-centred care and completing care documentation correctly.
* Administration of medication following MAR charts.
* Household duties within Daisy Haye, adhering to health and safety and COSHH regulations.
* Ensure all alarm bells are answered in a timely manner.
* Completing building checks.
About You

* Empathetic and compassionate – passionate about providing care and support to residents of all abilities.
* Able to build rapport and relationships quickly.
* Trustworthy and reliable – punctual and good at managing your time.
* Resilience – capable of handling challenges and fulfilling rewarding work.
* Flexible – willing to work shifts as needed.
What we need from you:
* Can you work between 10pm and 8am?
* Desire to provide personal care respecting residents' rights and choices.
* Right to work in the UK with proof (passport, Visa).
* Willing to complete a DBS check (cost covered by us).
* Provide at least 2 professional references.
* Complete a 3-day classroom-based induction (paid training).
