About the Role A large, established manufacturing site is seeking a Maintenance Engineer to support safe, efficient and reliable operation of all on-site production equipment. The role involves carrying out day-to-day maintenance activities, resolving breakdowns, improving plant performance, and ensuring engineering work is delivered to a high standard across a busy, fast-moving environment. You'll be part of a small, hands-on maintenance team responsible for keeping production running smoothly, identifying ways to improve equipment performance, and ensuring all engineering work meets Health & Safety expectations. What to Expect Carry out planned, preventive and reactive maintenance on plant equipment. Ensure all engineering work is completed safely, efficiently and in line with site procedures. Maximise equipment uptime by making best use of labour, tools and resources. Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, pneumatic and hydraulic issues. Support continuous improvement initiatives across the site. Maintain accurate records through the site's computerised maintenance management system (CMMS). Contribute to problem-solving, root-cause analysis and improvement activities. Ensure maintenance activities comply with Health & Safety and site standards. What You'll Need Good problem solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot hydraulic, pneumatic, electrical, and PLC issues Confident working with batch and flexible manufacturing processes. Experience using CMMS systems. Comfortable analysing data, troubleshooting issues and working methodically. Practical understanding of safe working practices and Health & Safety principles.
