We have an exciting opportunity for a Wealth Administrator to join the Wealth Management team in our Edinburgh office on an 18‑month fixed‑term contract.
Job Description
The successful candidate will play an integral role in the day‑to‑day ongoing administration of clients’ accounts. This busy and varied role will see you providing the best possible service to colleagues and clients as part of a cohort of likeminded individuals who strive to achieve great results while continuously learning and adapting to improve systems and work practices. RBC expects all employees and contractors to work in the office, with some flexibility to work up to one day per week remotely, depending on working arrangements.
What will you do?
* Communicate with Wealth Managers and their Associates, providing administrative support.
* Prepare and process all new client documentation and amendments.
* Monitor transfers of assets/cash from other institutions.
* Support ISA subscriptions and transfers.
* Process payments for clients.
* Liaise with colleagues within Business Support regarding client account administration.
* Ensure client details and reviews are recorded correctly in the system.
* Maintain general record keeping and electronic filing.
* Adhere to Conduct Risk standards.
What do you need to succeed?
Must‑have
* Experience in administration within the discretionary wealth management sector (preferred).
* Intermediate knowledge of Office 365 Suite and Outlook (essential).
* Excellent attention to detail.
* Proactive individual.
Nice‑to‑have
* Awareness of MiFID II legislative framework.
