Job Description - Cheltenham/Midlands/SW Account Manager Summary Job title - Cheltenham, Midlands and South West Account Manager Department - Sales Department Location - Based out of HQ in Cheltenham Salary and other compensation - £32,000 Commission Hours - 40 hours per week Contract type - Permanent Reporting to - National Sales Manager The Role The Cheltenham, Midlands and South West Account Manager will effectively manage direct accounts across The Cotswolds, Midlands and the South West, while also supporting and assisting with our wholesale partners in the area, ensuring KPI’s are met through all relevant channels. In this position you will act as a brand ambassador for the brewery and maintain high value, long term relationships with direct sales customers. This role is responsible for ensuring the brewery’s sales goals are met through effective time management, organisation and work ethic. This role will be based from HQ, with regular travel throughout the sales area. Responsibilities Implement and drive the Direct sales strategy in Cheltenham, Midlands and South West to attain the business sales targets directed by the NSM & CCO. Ensure all sales processes and principles are adhered to. Cultivate and manage relationships with customers across the area. Manage CRM system alongside National Sales Manager. Manage supply agreements and pricing negotiations in agreement with NSM & CCO. Report weekly on performance to KPI’s in line with the business sales strategy. Provide weekly feedback on direct sales performance in your area, sales strategy and market position. Maintain high levels of motivation and engagement with accounts in area. Essential selection criteria Experience working in a Sales Department. Experience managing a sales territory with efficient planning of customer visits. Proactive lead generation and prospecting skills. Proven ability to negotiate terms and close sales in competitive markets. Proficiency with CRM systems and sales reporting tools to track leads, opportunities, and performance metrics. Highly organised and able to manage multiple accounts and priorities simultaneously. Demonstrated commitment to representing brand values and delivering an exceptional customer experience. Driver’s licence & willingness to travel. Desirable selection criteria Previous experience in craft beer, beverage alcohol or FMCG sales Experience in managing CRM software. Previous experience within the brewing industry.
