Responsibilities
* Support medication safety - assist with medication rounds by completing essential controlled drugs verification checks and managing patient access to medication hatches
* Deliver clinical services - run primary care clinics including phlebotomy, ECGs, smoking cessation reviews, and sexual health screenings
* Monitor detox patients - work alongside registered nurses to support patients through detoxification by completing regular clinical observations and assessments
* Assess new arrivals - register patients in reception, take baseline observations, and complete clinical assessment scores to identify immediate health needs
* Lead public health initiatives - deliver dry blood spot testing (DBST) across the site as part of our blood-borne virus elimination programme
* Provide holistic care - support our enhanced primary care unit by delivering personal care and tailored social care packages
* Conduct outreach - complete welfare checks and wing-based reviews, bringing healthcare directly to those who need it
