An exciting opportunity has arisen for a highly motivated and enthusiastic nurse to join our established multidisciplinary team at Cowal Community Hospital. The post will be based primarily within Casualty, with opportunities to work flexibly across the hospital, including Outpatients.
The successful candidate will demonstrate the ability to work adaptably and flexibly, managing their own workload effectively and efficiently while delivering high‑quality, patient‑centred care.
An Unscheduled Care Practitioner certificate or equivalent Nurse Practitioner qualification is desirable. However, applicants with relevant experience and a clear willingness to further develop their skills and undertake the necessary education will also be considered.
Applicants must be:
* A registered nurse
* Hold relevant postgraduate qualifications
* Have evidence of continuing professional development (CPD)
* Possess appropriate clinical experience relevant to the role.

Additional Information for Candidates
* Effective from 1st April 2026, the Agenda for Change full‑time working week will be reduced from 37 to 36 hours. Part‑time hours will be adjusted on a pro‐rata basis. There will be an increase in the hourly rate to ensure that pay remains unaffected.
