Infrastructure Architect - DV Cleared
Location: Basingstoke (5 days per week, office-based)
Security Clearance: Must hold current, active UK Developed Vetting (DV) clearance or be willing to go through DV Clearance process.
Salary: £75,000 - £80,000 per annum
Package: + Bonus + 10% DV Allowance + £6,000 Car Allowance + Comprehensive Benefits

We are representing a major global technology services provider seeking a talented Infrastructure Architect to join their dedicated team based Full time at their client site in Basingstoke. This is a crucial role where you will take ownership of technical proposals and infrastructure design, working closely with senior stakeholders and ensuring alignment with the customer's vision.
The Role:
Reporting to a CTO Lead Architect, you will be a pivotal figure within a multi-skilled agile team. You will be responsible for defining and delivering robust, secure, and resilient infrastructure solutions. Your role requires a blend of deep technical expertise and strong communication skills to navigate complex environments effectively.
Key Responsibilities:
* Own all aspects of the delivery of technical infrastructure proposals, ensuring they align with the client's strategic vision.
* Design secure, highly resilient, large-scale infrastructure solutions.
* Engage directly with senior customer stakeholders to define, elaborate, and validate infrastructure requirements.
* Collaborate effectively across internal technical teams (security, service, management) and manage interactions with 3rd party suppliers.
* Ensure proposed solutions maintain architectural integrity, managing requests for change appropriately.
* Oversee the successful deployment of solutions into production, including service transition planning.
* Design infrastructure solutions compliant with relevant security standards.
* Operate effectively within an Agile delivery framework.
Required Skills & Experience:
* Essential: Must hold current and transferable UK Developed Vetting (DV) security clearance.
* Essential: Proven experience designing and implementing secure, highly resilient, large-scale infrastructure environments.
* Essential: Demonstrable client-facing skills with experience communicating complex technical ideas to senior executives and stakeholders.
* Essential: Strong experience working directly with customers to define and elaborate infrastructure requirements.
* Essential: Significant knowledge and hands-on experience with Microsoft Windows systems administration in an enterprise setting (including configuration via GPO, Registry, Filesystem; PowerShell Scripting; WMI; Windows Update/Patching; Windows Installer).
* Experience successfully deploying production implementations through to service transition.
* Experience designing infrastructure solutions to meet stringent security compliance standards.
* Proven experience working within Agile development/delivery methodologies.

Base Salary: £75,000 - £80,000
Bonus: performance-related bonus
DV Allowance: 10% of base salary (reflecting the security requirement)
Car Allowance: £6,000 per annum
