Overview of the role
We are looking for an experienced Pharmacist to join the team and make a difference at our pharmacy in Lanrigg Road in Fauldhouse.
This community pharmacy is commutable from Edinburgh and surrounding areas and is located next to a health centre. It has a good relationship with the adjoining clinic.
How our pharmacy makes a difference:
* It dispenses 1500 items a week,
* It provides a wide range of services including NHS prescriptions, pharmacy first and all Lothian PGD's.
* It provides services to 0 substance misuse patients and care homes.
* It dispenses 0 community blisters.
* 22 hours per week
This pharmacy is open 9am until 6pm, Monday - Friday and Saturdays 9m-1pm.
The dynamic team at this pharmacy is comprised of a pharmacist, a team leader and two pharmacy assistants.
The Ideal Candidate
The successful candidate must possess an MPharm degree or equivalent and management experience is desired but not essential. You will be required to have your GPhC registration upon your start date.

You’ll be supported in your role by an Area Operations Manager and a Regional Operations Manager, with regular structured pharmacy visits
We have invested in new technologies for our pharmacies including a new PMR system and centralised dispensing to allow you to focus on providing quality care and services to our customers.
We are focused on mental health and wellbeing which is why we’ve put all our field managers through the Mental Health Awareness course to raise awareness and enable a greater level of support when working in our pharmacies.
