Salary: Base pay ranges £38,144.10 up to £45,284 per annum (depending on skills and experience)

About the role
Join our Water Supply Team, to play a vital part in the frontline of our day-to-day maintenance of, and repairs to, Water supply works, reservoirs and booster stations to ensure all environmental, quality and customer service standards are met, whilst meeting H&S legislation and achieving budgetary targets.
What you will be responsible for:
4. Able to demonstrate an in-depth understanding of pumping station operation and the water treatment process.
5. A problem solver, able to identify potential issues and implement solutions, or escalating if required.
6. An excellent communicator, providing technical expertise to Internal and External contractors.
7. Resilient, adapting to the pressures of work and working in a constantly changing environment.
Additional Requirements
Standby cover required on a 1-in-x Rota basis.
What you’ll bring to the role:
Essential
8. Level 3 NVQ Mechanical and/or Electrical qualification with certificates.
9. Full UK driving licence.
10. Problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure.
Desirable
11. Experience in water industry.
12. Strong understanding of pumping station operation and water treatment process.
13. Knowledge of health and safety legislation.
