We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive individual to join our dynamic Temporary Staffing Services (TSS) team at University Hospitals Dorset. Base Location: Yeoman's House/Royal Bournemouth Hospital Shortlisting date: 14th January Interview Date: Week commencing 19th January Main duties of the job As the TSS Compliance administrator, your ability to swiftly and accurately manage administrative, onboarding and compliance processes will be key to maintaining our staffing standards. You will be part of a team responsible for the onboarding and verification of requirements for all bank and agency workers. Working for our organisation Our values define who we are as #TeamUHD. Detailed job description and main responsibilities Key Responsibilities: Administrative support for onboarding and compliance of bank and agency workers, ensuring all requirements are met to the highest standard. First point of contact for queries from various stake holders, escalating as appropriate. Support the monitoring of systems in maintaining up to date and compliant records including all statutory and mandatory training, professional registrations, DBS checks, and right-to-work documentation. Person specification Qualifications Essential criteria Good standard of general education (4 GCSEs at A-C level, or equivalent), including maths and english language. Experience Essential criteria Previous experience of office work and general administrative tasks, including dealing with telephone, email and face-to-face enquiries. Previous experience of working as part of a fast-paced, dynamic team, in a busy and challenging office environment. Desirable criteria Previous experience of working in the NHS. Previous experience of working in temporary staffing services/staff deployment in a similar setting, either in public or private sector. Previous experience of recruitment/onboarding practices. Technical Skills and Competencies Essential criteria Standard keyboard skills Good written and verbal communication skills. Able to evidence the ability to learn quickly new systems and software. Excellent customer service skills. Able to use Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Word to a good standard. Ability to work to tight and often changing timescales and deadlines Excellent data entry and database maintenance skills. Desirable criteria Familiarity with temporary staffing systems currently in use - - including HealthRoster, BankStaff, TempRe and ImageNow. Highly proficient in Office Excel, Outlook and Sharepoint. Knowledge Essential criteria Knowledge of administration and clerical systems and procedures Awareness and understanding of importance of data and person confidentiality Desirable criteria Knowledge and understanding of NHS and relevant terminology. Knowledge and understanding of NHS employment check standards. Knowledge and understanding of the NHS Core Skills Training Framework.
