Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Bar Manager to oversee the daily operations of our bar. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in hospitality and leadership, ensuring exceptional service while managing a team of staff. This role requires a blend of culinary skills, supervisory experience, and a passion for creating an inviting atmosphere for our guests. Ideally we're looking for someone to be self employed and work on a profit share on wet and dry. However we're open to all options if the fit is right.
Responsibilities
* Manage the bar operations, including staff supervision and training
* Ensure high standards of food preparation and presentation
* Oversee inventory management and ordering of supplies
* Maintain compliance with food safety regulations and health standards
* Develop and implement innovative drink menus and specials
* Foster a positive team environment through effective team management
* Handle customer inquiries and resolve any issues promptly
* Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure seamless service between bar and dining areas
* Monitor bar performance and implement strategies for improvement
Experience
* Proven experience in a bar management role or similar position within the hospitality industry
* Strong culinary experience, including food preparation and production
* Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a team effectively
* Previous restaurant or hotel experience is highly desirable
* Knowledge of food safety practices and regulations is essential
* Experience as a barista or in beverage service is an advantage
