We’re delighted to be supporting a lovely Birmingham primary school that has been rated Good in consecutive Ofsted inspections, with the latest check completed just last year. This is a school with a brilliant reputation—supportive staff, engaged pupils, and leadership that truly values its team.
They’re now looking for a Level 3 SEN Teaching Assistant to join their Year 1 team. This is a full-time, long-term role starting 3rd November 2025 and continuing until further notice.
What You’ll Be Doing
* Providing 1:1 and small group support for pupils with SEN in Year 1
* Supporting children with their learning, behaviour, and emotional wellbeing
* Working closely with the class teacher and SENCO to deliver tailored learning plans
* Encouraging independence, resilience, and progress for all pupils
* Building positive relationships with children, families, and colleagues
What We’re Looking For
* NCFE CACHE Level 3 Award in Supporting Teaching and Learning (essential)
* Previous experience working with children with SEN (Autism, ADHD, speech & language needs, etc.)
* A caring, patient, and resilient approach
* Excellent teamwork and communication skills
* Commitment to helping every child achieve their full potential
