The Role:
1. Undertake surveys on returned assemblies, carry out modifications and repairs.
2. Test electrical and electronic assemblies and equipment following standard safe operating procedures to MoD and commercial standards.
3. Build first-off prototype equipment and collaborate with Engineering to optimize solutions.
4. Conduct testing and laboratory evaluations of products.
5. Repair PCB and wired assemblies to IPC standards.
6. Follow supporting documentation and company procedures.
7. Perform additional duties as required by Management.
8. Adhere to health and safety legislation to maintain a safe working environment.
9. Ensure compliance with company procedures and documentation standards.
Candidate Requirements:
* Understanding of Health and Safety requirements and legislation.
* Ability to read electrical, electronic, and wiring diagrams.
* Broad engineering skills, including communication, systems engineering, safety, and configuration control.
* Knowledge of ESD prevention practices and component handling.
* HND/HNC in a relevant discipline or equivalent qualification.
