University of Nottingham Sport is looking for a passionate and motivated Junior Strength and Conditioning Coach to support the delivery of strength and conditioning services to University of Nottingham sports teams.
In this role, you will collaborate with other members of the strength and conditioning team, coaches, and external partners to enhance the student sporting experience. A typical day may include (but is not limited to):
Delivering strength and conditioning sessions to University of Nottingham student athletes.
* Supporting the running of the strength and conditioning facility with leading drop-in sessions, maintaining the facility and equipment.
* Supporting the delivery to para-sport student athletes and the department knowledge base of para-S&C.
* Contributing to strategic projects that enhance student experience and athlete performance at University of Nottingham.
This is a part-time (0.6 FTE), fixed term role, and some evening and weekend work may be required to meet the needs of performance sport programs. We are happy to discuss flexible working arrangements.

About You
We are looking for a coach who is committed to driving student experience and delivering performance outcomes through excellent coaching. You would be well-suited to this role if:
* You have experience working with student athletes, with an understanding of demands placed upon student athletes.
* You are excited to learn about para-sport and can create an environment for para-sport student athletes to thrive within.
* You have some experience working with sports coaches, physiotherapists and other members of the support services, or other sporting organisations.
* You have a collaborative and solution-focused mindset, with the ability to engage effectively with students and colleagues.
