Our client - A Leading Private Medical organisation are recruiting for a Radiology Department Assistant to join their friendly and hard-working team based in Central London. As the Radiology Department Assistant, you will be responsible for the following duties: * Providing a friendly and professional approach to patients * Assisting Radiologists with MRI scans as required * Helping patients with all care and medical related procedures * Reception cover - meeting and greeting all visitors as professionally as possible * Administration – general administration as required * Answering telephones and responding to all enquiries by email * Updating systems and keeping relevant records as required * Liaising with other healthcare professionals and colleagues to ensure that the clinic is run as smoothly as possible * Ad hoc duties as required It is essential you come from a healthcare background assisting people with a high level of customer service, as this role requires a very empathetic individual. A background in a care/ healthcare setting would be advantageous. It would be even more advantageous if you have IV cannulation/ phlebotomy experience. The role requires an individual with excellent communication and confidence to deal with patients. This is a full-time permanent job and the hours are Monday to Friday, Shift patterns between 8am and 6pm every day.
