Market Development Executive
Kingston Recruitment are working with a well-established manufacturing business who are looking to recruit a Market Development Executive to support their continued growth.
This is a unique opportunity to take ownership of identifying and developing new market sectors, creating strategies to introduce company products into new industries and securing initial customers. The successful candidate will work in a varied role involving research, business development, trade shows and collaboration with technical teams. This is an excellent opportunity for a proactive sales professional to drive growth.
Key Responsibilities
* Identify and research new industry sectors and potential customer types
* Develop go-to-market strategies and entry plans for new markets
* Work with internal teams to integrate technical product knowledge into sales strategies
* Carry out direct business development and customer outreach to win new accounts
* Represent the business at UK and international trade shows
* Support the development of sales processes for new customer segments
* Analyse sales activity and report on the success of new market initiatives
* Contribute to ongoing marketing and sales strategy development
The Person
* Strong business development or sales experience
* Ability to research and evaluate new market opportunities
* Confident communicator with strong relationship-building skills
* Strategic mindset with a proactive and self-driven approach
* Willingness to attend trade shows and occasional overnight stays
