We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Pastoral Support Worker to join our team and contribute to the wellbeing, personal development and success of our pupils. About the Role The Pastoral Support Worker will play a key role in supporting children’s social, emotional and academic development. Working closely with the Senior Leadership Team, class teachers and support staff, you will: Work with small groups of children to develop social skills, resilience, emotional regulation and confidence Support the pastoral needs of pupils to ensure they feel safe, valued and ready to learn Work proactively with staff to remove barriers to learning and promote positive behaviour Contribute to raising academic attainment by helping pupils engage more fully in classroom learning Develop positive relationships with pupils and families to support children’s wider wellbeing Assist in the creation of a supportive, inclusive school culture where every child can thrive We are looking for someone who: Is caring, patient and committed to the development of all children Has experience working with children in a pastoral, learning support or similar role Can communicate effectively with children, staff and parents Is able to work both independently and as part of a team Is passionate about helping children overcome challenges and achieve their potential We can offer: A friendly, supportive school community A committed team who place children’s wellbeing at the heart of everything we do Opportunities for professional development A positive and nurturing environment where every role makes a difference Applicants will only be considered with a completed application via this website.
