You’ll be the go-to person for all things “People” — supporting our managers, driving engagement, and helping us grow in the right way as we continue our exciting journey.
Working side by side with our People Director, you’ll help bring our people strategy to life — balancing the practical with the purposeful to make Pho an even better place to work.
What you’ll do
? Shape the people experience
Use data and insight to spot trends, create action plans, and drive engagement, retention, and performance across our restaurants and support teams.
? Partner and empower
Be a trusted advisor to our managers — guiding them through HR challenges, from wellbeing support to complex ER cases, with empathy and confidence.
? Drive projects with purpose
Work with the People Director on key initiatives — from workforce planning to diversity and inclusion, engagement, and digital transformation — making sure they land authentically and with impact.
? Champion our culture
Keep our people-first philosophy at the core of everything we do — from policy updates and wellbeing initiatives to leadership training and recognition programmes.
? Lead with heart
Coach, mentor, and inspire our managers to lead in true Pho style — with kindness, confidence, and care.
About you
You’re an experienced HR generalist who’s worked in hospitality, or another fast-paced, people-focused environment. Experience with larger, high growth businesses desirable but not essential. 
️ You have a solid understanding of UK employment law and can handle a variety of ER issues with clarity and compassion.
? You think commercially but always put people first.
? You’re approachable, proactive, and thrive on building relationships and trust.
? You’re equally at home rolling up your sleeves on day-to-day HR or driving big-picture projects that make a difference.
