Role Summary

The Operations Clerk will organize and coordinate team activities, support business operations, and serve as the first point of contact for customers, suppliers, and third-party agents, ensuring timely and accurate communication.


Key Responsibilities

* Answer phones and respond to customer queries via telephone and email.
* Manage information flow within the company and via shared mailboxes.
* Process and track client bookings using various software tools.
* Schedule and coordinate fleet and drivers, including subcontractors.
* Prepare documents such as quotes, reports, and correspondence.
* Maintain relationships with clients, agents, and third parties.
* Handle client complaints and queries effectively.
* Manage diaries and coordinate resources for client events.
* Travel for client meetings and site visits as needed.
* Create and update internal processes and communicate changes.
* Collaborate with colleagues and support management tasks.
* Maintain electronic filing systems and ensure data accuracy.
* Perform additional tasks as required.


Qualifications and Experience

* Clean driving license.
* Right to work in the UK.
* Knowledge of importing/exporting/shipping is beneficial.
* Experience in event logistics is advantageous.
* Strong organizational and administrative skills.
* Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
* Effective communication skills in various formats.
* Resourcefulness and ability to research and share information.
* Supportive team player with a positive attitude.
