Teacher Main Scale/Upper Scale 2 SEN with Whole School Responsibility Location Pens Meadow School at Ridge Hill, Brierley Hill Road, Wordsley DY8 5ST and Pens Meadow School at Tiled House Lane, Pensnett DY5 4LN We are thrilled that due to the opening of our-brand new nursery, Mini Meadow within our new school site the Governors of Pens Meadow School are looking for an innovative, creative and inspiring Nursery Teacher to join our highly successful team. This is a wonderful opportunity to shape the very beginning of our children’s learning journeys and create an environment filled with awe, wonder and endless possibilities. Opening in January 2026, our nursery aims to be a caring, happy environment where pupils with complex learning needs including medical conditions and autism feel valued and supported to thrive and learn. From January 2026, Pens Meadow will provide quality education for 140 pupils aged 4 to 19 alongside our nursery. Our staff team are committed to improvement, and we believe in high standards, teamwork and seeking the very best for every child in our care. The school was very pleased with the outcome of our most recent OfSTED inspection in May 2025. What are we looking for? As the Mini Meadow Nursery teacher, you will: Design and deliver an engaging curriculum that sparks curiosity and joy, creating magical moments of learning that inspire children to explore and discover the world around them. Nurture a safe and happy environment where every child feels valued and supported. Be excited to support different pupils needs working closely with families and colleagues to ensure every child thrives. Be able to personalise learning through quality provision and adaptive teaching. Recognise and celebrate the small steps that pupils with SEND make and strive to provide exciting opportunities in line with our school values. Be enthusiastic about being part of our new nursery venture, helping to build the nursery community from the ground up. Go the extra mile to make our nursery a truly special place to grow and learn. Opportunities to develop a whole school area of responsibility, with autonomy, which supports our continuing school improvement agenda.
