National Account Manager – Grocery

The Ideal Candidate
We’re looking for someone who brings:
* 5 plus years experience in FMCG account management roles
* National Account Management experience; grocery experience with big 4 retail is essential
* P&L owned /strong leadership and forecasting experience
* Strong communication skills to develop and manage key buying relationships
* A flexible, can-do attitude and willingness to work closely within a small team
* The energy to thrive in a rapidly growing, evolving business
* A self-starter mindset with ambition to progress
* A genuine passion for food and fresh products
* Proficiency in Excel, powerpoint and sales forecasting tools
* Experience with category data
* Strong commercial acumen with a track record of delivering financial targets
* Experience working with Tesco and or Sainsbury’s, including Joint Business Plans, is highly advantageous.
* Scope of the Role
* Account management responsibility for key grocery customers
* Delivering business KPIs across your accounts
* Ownership of volume and value forecasts and internal P&L reporting
* Supporting pricing and promotional strategy
* Leading and supporting Joint Business Plans (JBPs)
* Driving distribution, range reviews, and NPD listings
* Collaborating cross-functionally with supply chain, marketing, and finance
