About the Role
Be at the forefront of implementing a new multidisciplinary care model for pregnant women with complex needs. Key responsibilities include:
* Leading a multidisciplinary team comprising obstetricians, midwives, social workers, mental health professionals, and legal specialists
* Providing antenatal and acute care, including clinic and theatre duties
* Supporting and supervising Junior Medical Staff while fostering professional development
* Contributing to clinical guidelines and quality improvement initiatives
What We Are Looking For
We’re seeking FRANZCOG-qualified specialists or equivalent, with:
* AHPRA Specialist Registration or international registration (eligible for peer-review pathways)
* Expertise in managing high-risk pregnancies and complex care
* Collaborative communication and leadership skills within multidisciplinary teams
* Commitment to patient-centred care, safety, and quality standards
* A passion for mentoring junior staff and contributing to research or service innovation
