Cover Supervisor - Worksop

Academics are currently recruiting Cover Supervisors to support welcoming and well-managed secondary schools throughout Worksop on a temporary, flexible, ongoing basis. This role is ideal for graduates, aspiring teachers, sports coaches, youth workers, or individuals with experience working with young people who are looking to gain regular classroom experience.

Contract: Temporary, flexible ongoing
Pay: £100 - £130 per day (dependent on experience, paid via PAYE - no umbrella company fees)

About the Role
As a Cover Supervisor in Worksop, you will supervise secondary school classes during teacher absences, ensuring pupils remain focused on the work provided.
You will deliver pre-prepared lesson materials, manage classroom behaviour, and maintain a positive learning environment across a range of subjects.

Key Responsibilities
Supervise classes using pre-prepared lesson materials

* Follow safeguarding and school procedures at all times
Candidate Requirements
A degree or equivalent qualification (essential)
Confident classroom presence and behaviour management skills
Strong communication and organisational abilities
Flexible, reliable and professional approach
Ability to build positive relationships with secondary-aged pupils
Enhanced DBS (or willingness to apply)
