Your new role
As a Part‑Time Maths Teacher, you will teach Mathematics across Key Stages 3 and 4, with opportunities to teach Key Stage 5 depending on experience. You will deliver well‑planned, engaging lessons that challenge and support students to achieve their potential.The role involves planning and marking within an established scheme of work, assessing student progress and contributing to departmental collaboration and curriculum development. Effective classroom practice and the ability to maintain a positive, purposeful learning environment are key expectations of the role.
What you'll need to succeed
You will hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and have the right to work in the UK. An Enhanced DBS check, or willingness to obtain one, is required in line with safeguarding expectations.You should have experience teaching Mathematics at secondary level, with strong subject knowledge and the ability to engage and challenge high‑achieving learners. Experience teaching A‑level Mathematics is desirable but not essential. Early Career Teachers (ECTs) are wee to apply, as the school offers strong departmental support and clear expectations.
