As an Account Manager, you will represent Baxter and our products, leveraging a deep portfolio and belief in the value they provide to patients. You will build relationships with doctors and nurses who use Baxter solutions daily and provide high-level support to NHS and Private Healthcare customers across the Liverpool and Lancashire regional ICBs (excluding Manchester).
You will be the primary connection to healthcare professionals relying on our products and the face and voice of our solutions.
You will work with teams to drive business results, sharing insights with your team and cross-functional partners to inform priorities and changes.
Responsibilities
* Achieve agreed sales and financial targets in line with objectives for the geographical / business / assigned area of responsibility.
* Train and educate Healthcare professionals on the safe, appropriate and effective use of Baxter products to ensure optimum patient outcomes.
* Use sales data and market analyses to guide activity and ensure focused, timely results.
* Contribute to the tender management process, including pre-tender activity, tender submission, and post-tender follow-up.
* Develop collaborative relationships to defend existing business through customer support, service and differentiating solutions clinically and financially versus the competition.
* Demonstrate effective selling skills across diverse customer types through the sales cycle.
* Utilize CRM systems for planning, sequential selling, and territory analyses.
What you'll bring
* Established track record of delivering sales goals or quotas (several years at or above quota).
* Experience with value-based selling.
* Proven selling skills in a direct NHS/Operating Theatre environment or in a clinical setting.
* ABPI desirable.
* Experience of working or supporting in a theatre environment.
* Strong business insight to support transformation.
* Ability to sell a comprehensive product portfolio while implementing appropriate prospecting strategies.
* Committed to consultative selling and closing skills.
* "Can do" attitude and sales knowledge to develop contacts and implement new product strategies.
* Appreciation for the UK medical market and curiosity about developing trends and initiatives.
