Parts Advisor - Horsham | £30,000 salary, Monday-Friday hours & clear progression
We're recruiting for a Parts Advisor to join a well-established operation in Horsham, offering a stable, weekday-only role with genuine development opportunities. Key Responsibilities:
* Acting as the first point of contact for enquiries, offering advice and processing orders by phone, email, or face-to-face
* Accurately identifying and cataloguing components using EPC systems and technical manuals
* Managing stock levels, completing stocktakes, and ensuring availability of fast-moving machinery parts
* Sourcing components from manufacturers and suppliers, negotiating for cost-effective purchasing
* Receiving deliveries, checking for discrepancies, and organising outbound despatch
* Supporting engineers and service teams to keep jobs running on schedule within a plant hire environment
* Handling invoices, returns, warranty claims, and maintaining accurate system records
* Keeping the parts counter and display areas clean, organised, and sales-focused
What we're looking for:
We're looking for someone who brings reliability, organisation, and strong communication skills:
* Previous experience in a parts, service, or technical support role
* MUST have experience as a Parts Advisor - client will consider someone from other sectors outside of Plant
* Confidence using computer systems and electronic catalogues
* A strong eye for detail and good organisational skills
* Comfortable dealing with customers and internal stakeholders
* A proactive approach and willingness to learn and develop
