Role Overview
Roaming Vehicle Damage Assessor in the South West region of the UK. The role involves working across multiple sites – Exeter, Barnstaple, Plymouth, Redruth & Torbay – supporting the region during holidays, peak volume, training, and any site assistance required. Based centrally, travel to each site is approximately one hour. A company vehicle is provided to enable you to carry out your role.
Responsibilities
* Estimate accident damage on vehicles of all makes and marques.
* Assess the full extent of the damage, costs of repair and timeframes.
* Identify the correct prescribed repair method.
* Prepare, record and maintain electronic and manual estimates.
* Obtain authority from insurance companies to repair the vehicle at the estimated costs.
* Liaise with customers, engineers and technicians to explain and ensure they understand the repair methodology.
* Stay up to date with repair methodologies, insurers, manufacturers literature and bulletins.
Qualifications
* Proven VDA / Vehicle Damage Assessor / Estimator experience.
* Experience using Audatex.
* NVQ Level 3/City & Guilds or ATA/IMI qualification is preferred.
* Solid bodyshop background.
* Full UK Manual Driving Licence.
