Trust and Tax Manager - Cheltenham - Experienced
Location: Cheltenham
Type of Role: Permanent, Full-time (with hybrid flexibility)
Salary: £65,000 to £85,000
A respected and nationally recognised Private Client team is seeking a Trust and Tax Manager to join its Cheltenham office. This is an excellent opportunity to work with high net worth individuals, owner-managed businesses, and large clients, offering a broad and varied workload within a supportive and growing environment.
The Role
* Day-to-day administration of trusts, liaising with trustees, beneficiaries, and professional advisors
* Preparing annual trust accounts, tax returns, R185s, and inheritance tax returns
* Preparing estate accounts and managing estate income tax reporting
* Handling TRS registration and CGT returns on residential property sales
Candidate Requirements
* Previous experience in a solicitors' firm, accountants' firm, trust company, or equivalent environment
* Knowledge of trust and tax administration, ideally including estates holding property, family company shares, and quoted investments
* Strong technical and organisational skills
* Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
* High attention to detail and accuracy
* A proactive and motivated approach to managing complex matters
