Role Description
Allianz has an exciting opportunity for a Senior Business Analyst to join our team on a hybrid basis from our Ditton Park office. You will be part of the Allianz Specialty Team, focusing on Pet Insurance. As a Senior Business Analyst, you'll lead organizational change by applying specialized business analysis, change management skills, and disciplined approaches. You will work across various functional domains with stakeholders at many levels, up to board level.
Salary: Circa £60,000
Location: Slough, Datchet Ditton Park
Pay is based on relevant experience, skills, and location. Salary is part of our total reward package.
Key Accountabilities
1. Work with stakeholders up to executive and board level to define business visions and develop strategies via analyses, feasibility studies, and business cases.
2. Apply and develop analysis methodologies to drive continuous improvement.
3. Define and implement the business analysis approach for projects or initiatives.
4. Ensure activities align with change governance and quality standards.
5. Support the development, testing, user acceptance testing, and implementation of solutions in collaboration with solution partners, suppliers, and stakeholders.
6. Mentor and coach others in business analysis.
7. Participate in post-implementation reviews, lessons learned sessions, and knowledge sharing to understand benefits delivery.
8. Contribute to the continuous learning of the profession.

Qualifications and Expertise
* Experience in defining and leading business analysis approaches within Waterfall and Agile methodologies.
* Proficiency in industry-standard modeling techniques, including data modeling and BPMN.
* Knowledge of change lifecycle concepts for planning, development, implementation, operation, and maintenance of change.
Essential Skills
* Understanding of key drivers for change.
* Knowledge of the insurance industry, including products, services, and business models.
* Strong organization, task planning, and time management skills.
* Experience with various project methods and impact on business analysis tasks.
* Experience in high-complexity change initiatives involving multiple facets like information, technology, people, and processes.
* Understanding of IT systems architecture, hardware, and software in business processes.
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
* Experience facilitating large workshops.
* Ability to initiate medium to large change projects.
* Capability to perform business analysis in multi-faceted change environments.
* Ability to quickly understand different business domains and stakeholder needs.
