Job Opportunity - Interim Head of Finance - North West of England One of my local Government clients situated in the North West of England are currently on the lookout for a Head of Finance to join their team on an interim basis. Interim Head of Finance Contract Length: 5 Months Pay Rate: DOE Days: X5 p/w Start Date: ASAP Hybrid: X2 days in office per week. You will be expected to: Support the Deputy in delivering the financial services for the council. Lead and manage staff within the finance service. Develop and implement MTFP's. Manage budget setting monitoring process. Manage the closure of accounts. Streamline reporting processes. Ensure robust corporate governance and monitoring is in place. Successful candidates will: Be a fully qualified Accountant. Have specific local authority experience working at Head of Finance or equivalent level. Have previously been responsible for teams more than 20 members of staff (can be some flexibility on this number). It is ESENTIAL that candidates have previous local authority experience doing the above.
