Interim People Advisor | Kent | £32,700 | 12 month FTC
We are currently recruiting for an experienced People Advisor to join a well-established, people-focused organisation supporting a diverse workforce across care and support services
This is a fantastic opportunity for a confident HR generalist with strong employee relations experience, who enjoys a hands-on, field-based role and working closely with operational teams
About the Role
You will join a collaborative local HR team supporting a workforce of approximately c800 staff. Working closely with managers across services, you will provide expert HR advice and manage a varied ER caseload.
Key Responsibilities
* Managing a busy ER caseload of approximately 15–20 cases at any one time (including disciplinary, grievance, capability, and whistleblowing cases)Providing practical, commercial HR advice to managers across multiple sites
* Supporting managers with absence management, performance concerns, and investigations
* Advising on best practice and ensuring consistency in applying policies and procedures
* Building strong working relationships across the business
* Contributing to continuous improvement within the HR function and wider organisation
What We’re Looking For
* Proven experience in a generalist HR Advisor role
* Strong ER experience with confidence managing complex cases
* A proactive and personable approach with excellent stakeholder management skills
* Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage a varied workload
