We are currently seeking a GCSE SEN Tutor for a Year 11 young person who is on role at a school, requires additional tuition from Long Eaton Library on the below dates and times:
Mondays-Thursdays: 10:45-11:45
Tuesdays: 2-3
Fridays: 13:30-14:30
Who We're Looking For
At Spark Academy, we're on the lookout for a dedicated SEN tutor in or around the Long Eaton area, who is passionate about making a real difference in the life of a vulnerable learner that has had a significant amount of time out of education. We are looking for qualified GCSE SEN teachers who are excited to provide 1:1 tutoring from a library setting. This role is ideal for educators who adopt a holistic, creative, adaptable, and trauma-sensitive approach to teaching. Spark aims to improve the educational support for vulnerable young people across the UK. As a tutor with Spark Academy, you'll be part of a supportive team, with SEN Support Specialists available to assist you throughout every placement. Requirements:
Must:
* Enhanced DBS: registered on the update service.
* Experience: Minimum 1 years experience teaching of British National Curriculum, with a background in working with SEND, SEMH, MLD, and/or SLD students. (Desirable)
* Full UK Driving Licence: Absolute requirement for facilitating in-person sessions.
* Flexible to drive to different locations within Staffordshire
* Location: Must be based in the UK with the right to work in the UK.
* Self-Employed: This is a self-employed position.
* Availability: Available for immediate work during school hours (08:30 - 16:30 Mondays-Fridays)
* Qualifications: Bachelor Degree in Maths, English, Science or a relevant teaching qualification.
Desirable:
* Professional Teaching Qualifications: QTS/QTLS. (Desirable)
* References: Two professional references.
* Worker Engagement: Engage as a Worker providing short-term engagements via a contract for service.
