What You’ll Do As Registered Manager, you will have overall responsibility for the home’s day-to-day management, ensuring the highest quality of care, welfare, safety, and security for all children and young people. You will: * Lead, inspire, and mentor a team of staff to deliver therapeutic, child-centred care. * Ensure compliance with Ofsted regulations, Children’s Homes Regulations 2015, and safeguarding legislation. * Oversee admissions, discharges, care planning, and significant event reporting. * Manage rotas, staffing levels, and performance to ensure consistent and safe practice. * Maintain the home’s Statement of Purpose and ensure outstanding standards during inspections. * Work closely with multi-disciplinary professionals to support each child’s physical, psychological, educational, and emotional development. * Promote a culture of reflection, resilience, and growth for both staff and children. About You We’re looking for someone who is resilient, motivated, and committed to making a lasting difference. Essential requirements: * Minimum 5 years’ experience in residential childcare. * At least 2 years’ experience supervising/managing staff. * Level 3 Diploma in Children’s Residential Services (or equivalent). * Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Residential Childcare (or willingness to complete). * Proven track record of achieving Good or Outstanding Ofsted outcomes. * Strong leadership, organisational, and communication skills. * Full UK driving licence.
