Overview
The diabetes and endocrine service is an active department dedicated to supporting and improving the lives of its patients. We have ten diabetes and endocrine consultants across our sites, with dedicated diabetes and endocrine specialist nurses, a dedicated podiatry service and some dietetic input. There are dedicated diabetes endocrine wards on each site with daily ward rounds from the consultants. In addition, there is a team of endocrine nurses who provide support for dynamic endocrine tests. There are a number of general diabetes and endocrine clinics across both sites.
