Job Title: Site Maintenance Technician - Residential & Grounds

Salary: £30,000 - £33,000
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8am-5pm

Are you a hands-on maintenance professional with solid repair skills? We're looking for a Site Maintenance Technician to help keep a major residential development safe, clean, and running smoothly.
From routine checks to minor repairs and contractor coordination, you'll play a key role in maintaining a high-quality living environment.
About the Development...
You'll be working on a landmark regeneration project transforming acres of land into a vibrant new neighbourhood featuring:
* Thousands of new homes
* Parks, wetlands and green spaces
* Community facilities including a school and health centre
* Retail spaces and excellent transport links
Key Responsibilities:
* Carry out day-to-day maintenance and safety checks
* Test and record fire alarms, emergency lighting, lift lines
* Perform minor plumbing, carpentry, painting, plastering, and light electrical work
* Coordinate contractors (review RAMs, issue permits)
* Maintain communal areas and bin stores
* Support with water testing, sprinkler systems, and general compliance checks
* Ensure safe use and storage of tools and equipment
What We're Looking For...
* Hands-on experience in multi-trade maintenance (electrical, plumbing, carpentry, decorating)
* Solid knowledge of building systems and Health & Safety practices
* Ability to work independently with good judgement and attention to detail
* Clear communication skills and basic IT literacy (Outlook, Word, Excel)
* Safety certifications are a plus
