Our exclusive client based in Leyland are currently recruiting for an experienced Accounts Assistant. The company has gone through a rapid period of growth and due to the increased workload now requires an extra person to join their team.
Duties include:
* Processing high volumes of invoices
* Dealing with supplier queries
* Statement reconciliations
* Assisting with weekly and monthly payment runs
* Bank reconciliations
* Chasing overdue accounts
* Allocating payments to customer accounts
* Raising credit notes where necessary
* Raising sales invoices
* Working on Xero daily
* Ad hoc accounts administration
A good team player is essential for this role as is a good communicator and a methodical worker. The company will pay for AAT support should you wish to study, though this isn’t essential.
You will also receive 25 days holidays plus bank holidays, pension, free on site parking and 37.5 hours per week with a flexible start and finish time.
