SEND Tutor
Sefton
£30 per hour (dependent on experience and/or qualifications)

Vision for Education is currently recruiting a dedicated and qualified SEND Tutor to support secondary-aged students in the Sefton area who require additional help accessing education.
This is a rewarding and flexible opportunity, ideally suited to experienced teachers or skilled tutors who are confident working independently and who can adapt teaching strategies to meet the diverse needs of SEND learners. The goal is to help students overcome barriers to learning and work toward achieving their academic targets in Maths and English.
The ideal SEND Tutor must be able to support students academically and build supportive and trusting relationships that foster confidence and engagement.
Requirements:
1. A recognised teaching qualification (e.g., QTS, PGCE, TEFL, TESOL, BA Ed etc.)
2. Experience working with SEND pupils
3. Strong understanding of the secondary curriculum
4. Commitment to regular, scheduled tutoring sessions
5. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
6. A proactive, flexible, and learner-centred teaching style
