Role Overview
The Communications Executive role supports the Communications Manager by assisting in the development and execution of marketing communications campaigns that promote PEXA’s products, services and brand. You will help drive brand awareness, lead generation and customer engagement through consistent messaging, and support internal communications to improve employee engagement. This role is vital to ensuring all campaigns are executed effectively in alignment with the overall marketing and communications strategy.

Key Accountabilities
* Support the Communications Manager in executing the communications strategy across all UK brands under the PEXA group, including Smoove, Optima, Amity Law, and Legal Eye.
* Write and edit high‑quality, compelling copy tailored for a B2B audience, specifically targeting lenders, conveyancers, brokers and other professional services.
* Assist in drafting press releases, blog posts, case studies, email communications, sales support collateral and corporate materials to promote the brand and its initiatives.
* Collaborate with internal teams to ensure consistent messaging across all communication channels, aligning with overall brand and marketing strategies.
* Contribute to the creation of internal communications content to engage and inform employees, helping to drive internal campaigns.
* Assist in media monitoring, tracking press coverage, and reporting on the effectiveness of communication efforts to inform future strategies.
* Support in coordinating media partnerships and external stakeholder communications, ensuring timely and relevant messaging is shared.
* Help manage the company’s digital presence by providing content for corporate websites, social media channels, and email campaigns.
* Stay informed on industry trends and competitor communications to provide recommendations for enhancing the company’s brand positioning.
Qualifications
* Minimum of 3 years previous experience in a marketing communications, content, copywriting or PR role.
* Strong copywriting and editing skills with a focus on crafting clear, professional content for B2B audiences, especially within the professional services sector.
* Multi‑channel experience creating press releases, blogs, email marketing content and corporate documents.
* Market knowledge of the property or legal services sectors and familiarity with communicating complex industry topics in an accessible manner.
* Alignment and consistency: Ability to work closely with internal teams and external partners to ensure messaging consistency and alignment with business objectives.
* Project management: A proactive, detail‑oriented approach to managing multiple projects and deadlines.
* Public relations knowledge, including basic media tracking and reporting.
* Strong organisational and collaboration skills with the ability to contribute to internal and external communication initiatives.
* Familiarity with digital marketing platforms and channels (social media, email, web content).
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to influence and negotiate effectively.
* Proficiency in digital tools, content management systems and file management systems (e.g., SharePoint, Google Drive) to organise and track marketing activities.
* Analytical mindset with a basic understanding of data analysis and reporting.
* Interest in or knowledge of the legal or property sectors is a plus but not essential.
