Job Overview Main purpose and object of the role: To assist the Cleaning Supervisor and Site Manager to help maintain the orderly, safe, clean and hygienic day to day running of the school. Main Duties Carrying out daily cleaning tasks as defined by the Cleaner Supervisor & Site Manager, including cleaning staff and student toilets, sweep/mop floors, hoovering, wiping surfaces, cleaning kitchens and all classrooms. The role is physically demanding Working Time Monday to Friday 15:30-19:30hrs on a 52 week contract. You are entitled to 28 days holiday (pro rata’d) and holidays must be taking in the school holidays outside of the deep cleaning schedule. Required Skills & Experience Physically fit and ready for physically demanding work. Good command of English language, basic literacy & numeracy. Cleaning experience desired but not essential, as is an understanding of basic cleaning-related Health and Safety – although all training will be given. Experience in a school environment ideal, but not essential Eligibility to work in the UK is a requirement.
