The Consultancy Group are currently seeking an experienced Interim M&A Associate at Manager level to support our client on both ongoing and upcoming transactions. This role will work closely with senior stakeholders across both Private Equity and corporate M&A environments, contributing to deal execution, strategic analysis, and integration planning.
£55 - £60 per hour
Key Responsibilities
* Support end-to-end M&A deal execution including due diligence, financial modelling, valuation, and transaction structuring
* Conduct market and competitor analysis to identify strategic acquisition targets
* Collaborate with internal teams and external advisors (legal, financial, tax) to manage deal processes
* Prepare investment memos, board presentations, and stakeholder communications
* Assist in post-merger integration planning and execution
* Provide strategic insights to support portfolio optimization and divestiture decisions
Ideal Profile
* 5 years’ experience in M&A, ideally with a background in Consulting
* Strong financial modelling and valuation skills
* Proven track record of supporting complex cross-border transactions
* Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
* Comfortable working in fast-paced, ambiguous environments
* Available to start immediately
