Family-friendly hours spread across Monday to Friday. From 1 April 2026, the Agenda for Change full-time working week reduces from 37 to 36 hours per week. Part-time hours will be reduced pro-rata with a corresponding increase in hourly rate so that pay is not affected.

Pre-employment checks and right to work

* There is a legal requirement to demonstrate the right to work in the United Kingdom. NHS Scotland Boards will check entitlement to work as part of pre-employment checks (routes include visa types and EU settled/pre-settled status). Reference GOV.UK for details.
* From 1 April 2025, some roles may require different levels of PVG/Disclosure checks as part of the Protecting Vulnerable Groups scheme. If the post is assessed as a "regulated role", you will be required to join PVG. If changes occur, the Hiring Manager or Recruitment Team will confirm.
* For some posts, sponsorship via UK Skilled Worker/Health & Care Worker Visa may be possible if the employer is a licensed sponsor and if salary requirements are met.

Important notice We anticipate high interest and may close the vacancy once a sufficient number of applications are received. Please submit your application at an early stage.
