About The Role

An exciting opportunity is available for an Occupational Therapist to work in our community Occupational Therapy service. You will work with people in their home environment, maximising their independence, and reducing the need for care support as appropriate and/or supporting carers in their role. This role supports people to achieve their daily living activities and enables access to community facilities for social and work activities.


About The Candidate

The successful candidate will have experience of working in collaboration with people, completion of specialist assessments to identify solutions and experience of adaptations which support independence.

You will develop your clinical skills, knowledge and experience in aids adaptations, long term condition management. As you will be working in a community role, learn how to apply social care legislation.

You will receive formal support guidance and regular monthly supervision from your line manager or specialist experienced therapist, and informal support from therapy colleagues, to help develop your confidence skills and abilities. There are regular monthly team meetings, monthly CPD sessions, practical learning sessions, formal training, informal training from reps on demonstration of new or upgraded products, assessment of postural seating provision, to enhance your CPD portfolio.
