The role
Main Role and Responsibilities
· Request, receive, pick, pack, issue and dispatch inventory whilst maintaining fully auditable records on both system and paper accurately
· Maintain a safe, clear and clean environment ensuring all procedures are adhered to. Including equipment maintenance
· Conduct weekly/annual cycle checks and report accuracy
· Behave with flexibility to support operational requirements whilst maintaining integrity of procedural requirements
· Work with team members to ensure clear hand over at shift change, maintaining operational service.
· Deliver goods to production areas and ensure transactions are recorded correctly in line with responsibilities as documented within procedures
· Drive responsibly and within legal limits.
· Ensure safety of person and vehicle at all times
· Ensure an understanding of any risk assessments and safe working practices related to the stores area of work.
· Undertake regular, timely stock checks as and when required, and resolve any issues that maybe highlighted.
· Ensure all incoming goods are clearly identified in line with documentation and are booked in accurately on NetSuite
· Ensure appropriate documentation for goods received is correctly signed and passed to relevant department.
· Ensure safe loading of all goods being despatched and confirm that packaging is adequate to ensure minimal risk to product during transit.
· Report any issues with fork-lifts or other facilities that disrupt the team's performance
Skills and Attributes
· Solid warehousing/logistics background.
· Experience with COSHH, PPE equipment, etc.
· Full UK driving licence
· Self-motivated with capabilities to complete tasks accurately adhering to tight deadlines
· Dynamic individual who can deliver in a pressurised environment.
· Ability to communicate confidently, both verbally and written
· Forklift Licence is essential
· Computer skills
· Excellent organisational skills
