Streamline Recruitment have partnered with a fantastic client to support their recruitment drives and are now looking to appoint a Transport & Contracts Logistics Planner (Night Shift) to join their operations team. This position plays a key role in coordinating transport across a mix of commercial and utility-based work, ensuring service delivery is maintained to a high standard, particularly within time-sensitive and reactive environments. Working within a fast-paced operation, you’ll be responsible for planning vehicle and driver activity, managing real-time changes, and liaising with both internal teams and external providers to keep services running efficiently. The role will involve: * Coordinating daily transport plans across multiple contracts * Allocating drivers and vehicles in line with availability and driver hours regulations * Managing live changes to schedules, particularly during incidents or disruptions * Working with third-party logistics providers and monitoring service delivery * Maintaining clear communication with drivers, clients and internal teams * Supporting out-of-hours and emergency response activity when required * Ensuring all activity is compliant with transport and health & safety regulations This role would suit someone who is organised, confident making decisions under pressure, and comfortable working in a reactive environment.
