Overview
We are seeking additional skilled Painter to join our team, for a new project.
This position is additional to an already very successful team. The workshop and has all brand new booths and equipment. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in paint spraying all current day technology products used in O.EM.. This role is NOT for the have a go painter, but someone with the skill and knowledge that is needed to be the best in this field. Quality is paramount and knowledge must be of a high level.
Duties
* Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, and applying primer if necessary.
* Apply paint, using latest, spray equipment.
* Assemble and fabricate components as required for various projects.
* Operate hand tools and power tools safely and effectively to complete tasks.
* Maintain a clean and organised work area to ensure safety and efficiency
* Perform routine maintenance on tools and equipment to ensure optimal performance.
Requirements
* Proven experience in painting, preferably using water based technology, monocoat/ directgloss.
* Ability to prep and polish should be known and demonstrated to others in the team if needed.
* Strong mechanical knowledge to understand equipment operation and maintenance.
* Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools safely.
* Basic maths skills for accurate measurements and calculations during projects.
* Attention to detail with a commitment to delivering high-quality workmanship.
* Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: £16.00-£20.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 – 43 per week
