Job Description
A telecoms company is seeking an experienced Company Secretary to manage governance, compliance, and board administration across its international operations.
The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in a senior company secretarial role, with in-depth knowledge of company law and corporate governance, both in the UK and internationally. You'll be responsible for advising the Board, ensuring legal and regulatory compliance, and managing key corporate governance functions.
London, hybrid working
The Role:

* Coordinate board meetings and prepare agendas and supporting documents
\t
* Handle director appointments and removals, and provide governance training to new members
\t
* Draft and manage legal documents, ensuring confidentiality and regulatory compliance
\t
* Oversee statutory filings and maintain corporate records in line with UK law
\t
* Liaise with external advisers on international governance matters
Ideal Candidate:
\t
* 8 years + experience
\t
* Legal qualification and CGI qualified or equivalent
\t
* Strong interpersonal skills with a proactive, adaptable approach
\t
* Excellent attention to detail and strategic thinking ability
\t
* Proven experience in corporate governance and secretariat functions
\t
* Experienced in managing statutory filings and corporate compliance
\t
* Knowledge of Diligent Entities and experience with mergers or restructures
