The business designs and manufactures valves, loading spouts and associated dry bulk handling equipment from their US facilities, supplying customers worldwide. They are now seeking a UK & Ireland Sales Manager / Business Development Manager with strong engineering knowledge, ideally within dry bulk solids or a closely related sector.
This role will suit someone with a technical or engineering background gained in industries such as chemicals, plastics, food processing, minerals, mining, or similar process environments.
Key Responsibilities:

Generate commercial growth by securing project opportunities and influencing specifications across the UK and Ireland

Proactively identify and develop new business with end users and OEM partners
*
Create and deliver structured sales plans aligned to revenue targets
*
Manage and progress a personal sales pipeline while contributing to wider team success
*
Represent the business at UK and international exhibitions and trade events
Person Specification:

Proven business development or sales experience within an engineering or technical product environment
*
Strong team ethic with the ability to work independently
*
Excellent technical and commercial communication skills
*
Full UK driving licence with willingness to travel
*
Self-driven, commercially focused, and comfortable working remotely without close supervision
*
Qualified through experience or training in sales, engineering, or a related discipline
