We're excited to offer a fantastic opportunity for a highly skilled, motivated, and charismatic Director of Sales and Marketing to become part of our dynamic Management Team on the beautiful South Coast.
You'll oversee three of our stunning properties, located in the heart of Bournemouth and Torquay. These stylish hotels, situated in the upper mid-scale to upper-end four-star range, are the premier choice for business and leisure guests, conference attendees, and families.
* Hilton Bournemouth: A chic and modern hotel featuring 177 designer rooms, six meeting rooms, two boardrooms and a ballroom, along with the popular Schpoons & Forx restaurant, and R1se Spa & Leisure facilities.
* Hampton Bournemouth & Torquay: Two well-appointed properties with 103 and 131 rooms, along with excellent M&E facilities in Torquay, catering to a diverse range of guests.
As Director of Sales and Marketing, you will play a pivotal role in driving the strategic direction and ensuring the successful delivery of the hotels' budgets. You'll lead a talented team of Sales Executives and Sales Managers, balancing both team management and the execution of sales goals.

Summary:
· Responsible for all sales and marketing activities
· Responsible for driving UK and international inbound sales revenue for the Hotel from all segments with a key focus on Corporate Group, Leisure Group, Sport Group, MICE, Consortia, Travel Agents and Retail.
· Develop and maintain an in-depth understanding of feeder markets and design adequate strategies to drive new business in both new and emerging markets
· Hold personal powerful relationships with both Customers directly and via various Agents, DMCs and Associations for maximum destination exposure
· Deliver revenue against individual sales target
Essential Functions:
· Oversees and directs all aspects of the Hotel's sales operation, marketing and promotions, communication and public relations
· Position the hotel as a desirable destination of choice
· Explore brand partnership opportunities and strategies
· Develop, plan, strategize and direct sales and marketing activities
· Lead digital marketing strategies with Head of Marketing from M&T
· Increase property exposure into top 10 and emerging markets towards accounts that can drive revenue
· Periodically review historical & current customer data to assess opportunities for new leads
· Develop and nurture solid meaningful relationships with clients - both decision makers and influencers for a portfolio of accounts for all segments.
· Develop strong relationships with tourism boards and DMC's
· Host and attend all UK and international client appointments and attend industry events and exhibitions as necessary for further follow up and repeat business opportunities
· Proactively pursue and subsequently manage/coordinate local, national and international familiarisation trips
· Prepare schedule of relevant travel and MICE trade shows and attend on behalf of the property
· Ensure that the UK and international sales plans for inbound revenue is aligned with needs of the business
· Communicate successes, activities and updates to Senior Leadership as required
· Lead a team of salespeople on property to create and nurture a sales culture
· Create Account development plans that specify objectives timescales and sales methods to maximise opportunity for all segments, review on a quarterly basis
· Ensure that all hotel and destination collateral required to boost sales is up to date, branded correctly, language appropriate, relevant and of high quality (for both residential and non-residential target markets)
Qualifications, Skills & Experience:
· 4 years in a Sales role on property, ideally focussed on the MICE market
· Detail-oriented, with demonstrated track record of follow through and delivery
· Excellent presentation skills
· Structured Systematic Sales approach
